About Us
Orion is a student-led science magazine created by high school students at ENKA Schools. It provides students with a platform to share their research, ideas, and perspectives across different branches of science while bringing together students who are passionate about scientific discovery and innovation. Through Orion, we aim to build a strong science community at ENKA Schools where curiosity, creativity, and collaboration are encouraged.
Our team consists of students with interests ranging from biology and chemistry to physics, neuroscience, computer science, and many other scientific fields. Each issue is the result of teamwork, where writers, editors, and designers collaborate to transform scientific curiosity into accessible, engaging, and thought-provoking content. By combining different perspectives and areas of interest, Orion creates a space where students can both learn from one another and contribute their own ideas.
Beyond being a magazine, Orion is also a collaborative and educational space that encourages students to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop their scientific communication skills. We believe science should be approachable and inspiring, not only as a subject studied in classrooms, but also as a way of understanding the world around us. Through articles, discussions, and shared ideas, we hope to make science more engaging and accessible for our school community.
As a growing community, Orion continues to expand with each issue by welcoming new voices, perspectives, and areas of interest. More than just a publication, Orion represents the students behind it, the ideas built together, and the shared passion for exploring science in meaningful and creative ways.
